Hey Family,

I'm Kamia, I was born & raised in South Central Georgia and it’s the place that I currently call home. So, you can say I’m a “southern” girl! A lot of my time is spent raising two amazing children and sharing the gospel (the good news of Jesus Christ). I am the owner & photographer of Kamia Portraits. I love being able to photograph professionals, expecting women & parents, while also being able to document their journey during their birth and even after, through motherhood portraits.

For over ten year I’ve been photographing. But in 2019, I gave birth to my second born and experienced Postpartum Depression, for two years! By the grace of God, I overcame it, but I also became passionate about women & their mental health and that's when I decided to switch to a full-service branding & maternity photography studio. 

Whenever I'm not photographing and creating, I'm spending time with my family & my church family, where I serve on the prayer and media team! I love going to church, being in nature, reading, creating content and writing.
